Q1) What are levels?
A) Levels are what students are graded at during KS3. If your son/daughter is at Stourport High School and in Yr 7 or Yr8 they will recieve a level ranging from 2-7. A level 2 is at the lower end of the mark scheme and level 7 is at the top. All students should aim to have achieved a minimumm of level 5 or above before the end of year 8.
Q2) How can my son/daughter improve?
A) Students have clear targets in their books. This can range from: use more varying sentences in your work, use more similes in your work, etc. Students have blue assessment books and clear targets. If a student does not understand what they need to do to improve they should speak to their English teacher.
Q3) My son or daughter has lost their UniServity login what should they do?
A) All teaching staff have the ability to reset students passsword. However if there is a problem with UniServity students should see Mr. Corbett at before or after school or during their brunch or lunch to solve the problem.
